The October Indie Next List e-newsletter, featuring the month’s 20 titles with bookseller quotes in addition to a Q&A with the #1 pick, was sent to more than 682,000 customers at 179 ABA member stores.
With the growing number of virtual events across an expanding number of platforms, this session aims to offer booksellers tips, tricks, and guidance on how to create safe yet profitable events in the new digital world.
“One thing that stopped me from trying to join the board earlier was I was kind of waiting to be invited,” said Sindelar. “That’s the wrong approach. If it’s right for you, you should nominate yourself.”
The American Booksellers Association, a national not-for-profit trade organization, works with booksellers and industry partners to ensure the success and profitability of independently owned book retailers, and to assist in expanding the community of the book.
