As the COVID-19 outbreak continues to have a significant impact on small businesses, the American Booksellers Association is providing as many resources as possible to independent bookseller members.

Booksellers can visit the dedicated Coronavirus Resources for Booksellers page on BookWeb to find critical information about immediate steps to take; support being offered by publishers, wholesalers, and vendors; opportunities for financial assistance; and more.

Additionally, ABA’s Resources for Reopening page offers ideas for staff and customer safety as well as supplier lists for sourcing hand sanitizer, masks, cleaning supplies, and other materials important to the reopening process.

Booksellers who are seeking the opportunity to connect with colleagues are invited to post in the COVID-19 Bookseller-to-Bookseller Forum on BookWeb or join the weekly ABA Coffee Break on Zoom. Meetings are held every Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. ET as well as the last Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. ET; email [email protected] to get the Zoom meeting ID and password.

Booksellers are encouraged to reach out to ABA with any questions or concerns during this unprecedented time in bookselling.
