BookExpo America announced today the author lineup for breakfast and lunch events at the 2010 trade show. Scheduled to appear are Cory Doctorow, Sarah Ferguson, William Gibson, John Grisham, Sara Gruen, Christopher Hitchens, Patton Oswalt, Richard Peck, Mitali Perkins, Condoleezza Rice, Mary Roach, and Jon Stewart.

BEA 2010 will be held from Tuesday through Thursday, May 25 - 27, at New York's Javits Convention Center.

Booksellers at ABA member stores can now make reservations for the official "ABA Hotel" for BookExpo America 2010. The Park Central Hotel, located just 20 blocks north of New York's Javits Convention Center, near Times Square, provides easy access to BEA via taxi, bus, or subway.

Steven Rosato has been named event director of BookExpo America (BEA). Rosato began working on BEA in 1998 and has served in a number of key sales and strategic positions. Most recently, as director of industry development and strategic accounts, Rosato played a critical role in helping to define and set BEA's goals for the future based on customer feedback.

ABA Hotel Will Be Located Just North of Javits Center

Last month, more than 30 booksellers from around the world gathered at Hotel ABA (the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge) in Brooklyn for the joint annual conference of the European (EBF) and International Booksellers (IBF) federations. Booksellers from 21 countries, including Finland, South Africa, France, Denmark, Germany, Latvia, Russia, Belgium, Ireland, and Spain, took part in programs at Hotel ABA on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 26 and 27.
