The newest video from last month’s ABC Children’s Institute features bookseller, storyteller, and TEDx speaker Anastasia McKenna, aka “Miss Anastasia,” of The Twig Book Shop in San Antonio, Texas.

Nielsen is requesting that BookScan stores transmit their files by the end of the day Sunday, May 25, to assure that their data is collected. The Bestseller reporting deadline will not change for stores reporting manually or by file upload.

The winners of the 2014 Children’s and Teen Choice Book Awards were announced on Wednesday night at the seventh Children’s Book Week Gala in New York.

All ABA member booksellers at BEA are invited to two evening celebrations at Hotel ABA, the Grand Hyatt New York.

With the May 17 celebration of Indies First Storytime Day just days away, ABA is encouraging the many booksellers who are hosting events to share their experiences via e-mail and social media.
