Summer/Fall 2023 Indies Introduce Featured Titles

ABA is proud to announce the titles selected for the Summer/Fall 2023 Indies Introduce program.

Each year, the Indies Introduce program brings booksellers together from across the US for conversation and connection centered around exciting upcoming debut adult, middle grade, and young adult titles.

“I had so much fun participating on the Kids’ Indies Introduce panel. It was great getting to chat with other booksellers from across the nation and discuss upcoming books. The only thing that was hard was narrowing it down to only a handful of titles — all of the books were such strong contenders!” said Kids' Panelist Jody Hardy of Mostly Books in Tucson, Arizona.

Adult Panelist Thu Doan of East Bay Booksellers in Oakland, California, said, “I had a great time delving into these debuts and sharing these discussions with my fellow panelists. It was nice to read out of my comfort zone and see these books through different lenses. It was so refreshing.”

Once again this year, publishers are offering specials on all titles appearing on the lists.

For stores that have taken part in past Indies Introduce promotions, there’s no need to sign up to take advantage of publishers’ Summer/Fall 2023 offers. However, stores that are new to Indies Introduce must complete the Indies Introduce sign-up form by June 4 in order to participate in the program.

Presentation of the Kids' Indies Introduce titles will take place in Milwaukee at Children's Institute in June. The presentation of the Adult Indies Introduce titles will be via Zoom on Tuesday, June 27 at 3:00 pm ET; keep an eye out for registration!
