Season's Last Booksellers Forum in Ohio on Tuesday

ABA will be holding its last Booksellers Forum and Education Program of the season at Joseph-Beth Booksellers in Lyndhurst, Ohio, on Tuesday, May 3. The event is in cooperation with the Great Lakes Booksellers Association (GLBA).

In addition to the open discussion of the Booksellers Forum, moderated by ABA CEO Avin Mark Domnitz and COO Oren Teicher, ABA programming will include the seminar "Increasing Sales," led by ABA Board member Russ Lawrence of Chapter One Book Store in Hamilton, Montana. Booksellers who bring their financial figures will be able to meet with Domnitz to receive help in completing the ABACUS survey.

The day's events also include opportunities to meet with ABA Board member Karl Pohrt of Shaman Drum Bookshop in Ann Arbor, Michigan; Jim Dana, executive director of GLBA; Rita Williams, GLBA's "Rep on the Road" and president of Heartland Productions; and GLBA board member Suzanne DeGaetano of Mac's Backs Books in Cleveland Heights. Lunch will be provided compliments of ABA and GLBA.
