Reservations for Hotel & Celebration Going Fast

With BookExpo America less than four weeks away, reservations for the ABA member-only hotel and for the May 26 Celebration of Bookselling are going fast. ABA is encouraging booksellers who would like to take advantage of each to reserve now.

Manhattan's Park Central, conveniently located in midtown, offers a special low rate of $179 for one or two beds, single or double occupancy; $199 for triple occupancy; and $219 for a quad. A special link to the BEA hotel reservation site and the access code required to book a room at the Park Central is available to ABA bookseller members via BookWeb.org. The hotel will be the site of an evening reception on Monday, May 24, hosted by the Random House Publishing Group.

All seven winners of this year's Indies Choice Book Awards will be joined by Honor Award recipients and Indie Next List favorites at the Celebration of Bookselling Luncheon on Wednesday, May 26, at the Javits Convention Center. The event, sponsored by Baker & Taylor, is free and open to two booksellers from each ABA member store. Booksellers who would like to attend should register individually as soon as possible via an electronic reservation form on Bookweb.org.
