Memorial Service for Rusty Drugan Set for January 22

The New England Independent Booksellers Association (NEIBA) will hold a memorial service for Rusty Drugan on Monday, January 22, from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Westford Regency Inn and Conference Center in Westford, Massachusetts. The service will be followed by a reception.

Drugan, who was NEIBA's executive director from 1992 until his resignation in August, died on Thursday, December 7, at his home in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

For planning purposes, NEIBA is asking those who will be attending the memorial service to send an e-mail to Assistant Executive Director Nan Sorensen at [email protected]; however, the association noted that anyone deciding at the last minute to attend should feel free to do so.

A limited number of rooms are available at the Westford Regency for Monday night at a rate of $79. To receive the special rate, hotel reservations must be made by December 31, and callers [(978) 692-8200] must mention NEIBA.
