In a special Father’s Day promo, customers who download the free Kobo app before June 18 will receive two complimentary eMagazines.  Additionally, customers purchasing a Kobo Arc 7HD before June 18 will receive $30 off the list price, in addition to five free eMagazines.

Reporting link will be available at the close of the sale and all units must be reported by July 1.

Web banners for the upcoming Kobo Father’s Day Promotion are in BookWeb’s Designs and Downloads, and each banner comes in two different sizes for the web.

Booksellers should link the Kobo Father’s Day Promotion banners to kobo.com/indieapp or create app links specific to their stores.

Sales must be reported for this promotion by July 1 via the Kobo Reporting Tool.

Kobo.com Planned Downtime

Kobo will be down for maintenance for a few hours on Thursday, June 12.  This outage is currently planned for 1:00 a.m. ET to 3:00 a.m. ET or 11:00 p.m. PT (June 11) to 1:00 a.m. PT (June 12)

This maintenance will affect all live kobo systems including:

• Kobobooks.com website (purchase, user registration, device activation, library migration)
• Account syncing from apps/devices
• Setting up new devices

During this time, customers will be re-directed to a maintenance page when they try to use the site.
