Indies Introduce Debuts: Choose Titles Now for Spring 2014

Two teams of bookseller panelists have chosen the hottest upcoming debut titles to be part of the Indies Introduce spring promotion, with 10 adult Debut Author picks and 10 children’s New Voices titles for booksellers to choose from. Visit the Indies Introduce webpage to read reviews and comments from the bookseller panelists who pored over thousands of manuscript pages to select the best and brightest books for spring 2014; then sign up and choose your titles before the October 25 deadline.

Kelly Estep, manager at Carmichael’s Bookstore in Louisville, Kentucky, read more than a dozen manuscripts as a panelist for the adult committee, and is thrilled with the resulting list. “Any time that our colleagues can take the time to say, ‘These books are all really great!’ is wonderful, because we don’t always have that opportunity to share with other stores,” she said. “We’re the only indie in our area. It makes our store a little bigger.”

Downloadable marketing materials are conveniently available in the Bookseller DIY for easy promotion, with new items to be added as the books publish. All titles will publish between January and May 2014.
