Hotel ABA Reservations, Cancellations?

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

With Hotel ABA 2008, The Renaissance Hollywood, booked to capacity, the American Booksellers Association has been adding the names of member booksellers who still want reservations to a waiting list. To be able to accommodate as many of them as possible, ABA is asking anyone with a reservation that is no longer needed to contact Program Assistant Margaret Nafz ([email protected]), so the room remains in the Hotel ABA block and can be assigned to another member.

The Renaissance Hollywood will be the site of the Day of Education on Thursday, May 29, as well as several special events, beginning Wednesday, May 28. Registration for the Day of Education, which is open exclusively to ABA bookstore and provisional members, is via the BookExpo America site, www.bookexpoamerica.com, or the registration booklet, mailing this month.

ABA bookstore and provisional members who would like to add their names to the Hotel ABA waiting list should also contact Nafz.

There are other hotel options close by Hotel ABA for those currently without reservations; however, the association has not negotiated special rates with these hotels. (ABA reminds booksellers to read a hotel's cancellation policy carefully before booking a room.)
