Bookseller Input Sought by ABA’s Governance Review Committee by June 8
Periodically, the American Booksellers Association creates a Governance Review Committee (GRC), which is responsible for reviewing the overall governance practices of ABA to determine whether they are in accordance with established policies and procedures. The first step in the review process is for the committee to gather input from ABA member bookstores.
To that end, the Governance Review Committee is asking booksellers to share their thoughts on ABA’s focus on strategy, transparency, decision-making, and diversity via a short survey, available here.
The deadline for booksellers to provide input to the committee is June 8.
This year’s Governance Review Committee members are Tom Campbell of The Regulator Bookshop in Durham, North Carolina; Bradley Graham of Politics and Prose in Washington, D.C.; and Amy Thomas of Pegasus Books in Berkeley, California.
