BookExpo America Calls for Speakers for 2007

BookExpo America (BEA) has issued an invitation to the book industry to submit proposals regarding authors and other speakers to participate in special events and education programs at next year's show. BookExpo America 2007 will be held at New York City's Jacob Javits Convention Center from Friday, June 1, through Sunday, June 3.

Authors programming includes the Opening Night Keynote address, the author breakfasts, the Saturday luncheon, the Saturday Night Fundraiser, the African American Booksellers Conference, educational panels, and various forums. New this year is the Last Word, on Sunday, June 3, at 1:00 p.m., where an author will provide closing remarks.
