9 Banned Books for Transgender Day of Remembrance

November 20 is Transgender Day of Remembrance, a day set aside to memorialize transgender people who have been murdered as a result of transphobia.

In honor of these observances, we have compiled a list of 9 books by trans authors dealing with trans themes that were banned in the 2023–2024 Academic Year (per the PEN America Index of Banned Books).
