ABA Forum Program Headed to Denver
The American Booksellers Association will be holding a Booksellers Forum and Education Program in Denver on Friday, April 1. All area bookstore owners and staff are encouraged to attend the events, which include an educational component and an update on ABA programs and initiatives, as well as an opportunity to meet with association senior staff to ask questions and to offer comments.
BookExpo America (BEA) has announced this year's full education conference program. BEA's education sessions will extend over four days, beginning Wednesday, June 1, and concluding on Saturday, June 4. All programming will take place at the Jacob K Javits Center in New York City, this year's convention site for BEA.
With BookExpo America just over two months away, booksellers who are still interested in staying at Hotel ABA - NYC (the Park Central Hotel) must act now to ensure they reserve a room. All double rooms at the Park Central have been sold out and singles are going fast. This year's BEA will be held from Thursday, June 2 - Sunday, June 5, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.
