Winter Institute Registration Opens

The American Booksellers Association today announced the opening of registration for its Second Annual Winter Institute, to be held in Portland, Oregon, on Thursday and Friday, February 1 and 2, 2007. ABA member booksellers can now register for the Winter Institute's two full days of free programming, as well as make hotel reservations, through the association's trade website, BookWeb.org.

Harry W. Schwartz Bookshop Partners With Health Resource Center

Milwaukee's Harry W. Schwartz Bookshop is partnering with the Small Stones Health Resource Center to reach more consumers interested in health-related issues. On November 1, Small Stones, a health center and retail store operated by Froedtert Hospital, is moving to a location next to the Schwartz Bookshop in Brookfield.
