IndieCommunication: IndieCommerce Training Webinars and Videos

First IndieCommerce training webinar filled; more to come

Wednesday’s edition of IndieCommunication announced the opening of signup for the first IndieCommerce webinar, which is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, September 23, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. EDT. Bookseller response was so great that the webinar has already reached its limit of 20 participants.

Future webinars are tentatively scheduled for September 23, October 7, October 21, November 4, and November 18, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET.  Watch for announcements about the opening of signup in upcoming IndieCommunication newsletters.

Each session will last for 60 minutes and will be conducted via GoToMeeting. IndieCommerce staff will be available to discuss any topic of booksellers’ choosing, whether or not it’s in the training materials. The hope is to spend a concentrated time on a single topic, such as a new feature. Each webinar is limited to 20 attendees.

Video Training Center launches

The IndieCommerce Video Training Center has launched on BookWeb.org. Booksellers will currently find videos on Creating a Block, Adding Content, Theme Key, and Uploading Images, and more are on the way.
