Zathura Promo Lifts Off

Stores with Book Sense should now be displaying special materials for the Zathura sweepstakes promotion, which were sent in the October Red Box. Tied to the November 11 release of Columbia Pictures' film version of Zathura, based on Chris Van Allsburg's bestselling book, the sweepstakes gives consumers a chance to win $2,000.

Houghton Mifflin, Van Allsburg's publisher and the sponsor of the sweepstakes, has also released a number of Zathura movie tie-ins this month, providing many opportunities to display and cross-promote the title to different age levels in conjunction with the sweepstakes and film release.

Sweepstakes entries will be accepted by mail or online at www.booksense.com/zathura from October 23 to November 30. The sweepstake's official rules are also available online.
