Winter Institute Volunteer Assignments on the Way

In a new initiative, the American Booksellers Association asked booksellers to indicate their interest in becoming a volunteer at this year’s event on the 2014 Winter Institute registration form.

Booksellers who signed up to volunteer when they registered should have received and completed a volunteer interest survey in late October or early November. Volunteer names were collected and finalized from this survey.

Confirmed volunteers should receive their proposed volunteer assignments via e-mail this week.

Interested booksellers who did not complete the survey should contact Membership and Marketing Officer Meg Smith with the date and time of their arrival in Seattle, and they will be added to the volunteer on-call list.

Among the perks for volunteers will be a volunteer-only lounge and special T-shirts for assigned booksellers.
