Winter Institute Hotel Sold Out Wednesday Night

Rooms at special reduced rates at the Long Beach Hilton, headquarters hotel for the American Booksellers Association's First Annual Winter Institute, are officially sold out for Wednesday night, January 25. However, rooms are still available at a rate of $112 per night for Thursday, January 26, and Friday, the 27th, on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Winter Institute's comprehensive education program begins at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday and runs through 4:30 p.m. on Friday at the Hilton in Long Beach, California.

Booksellers whose travel plans necessitate a room for Wednesday evening, the 25th, should contact ABA's Margaret Petrie at [email protected] or (800) 637-0037, ext. 6614. ABA will try its best to help out.

While the very special hotel rate of $89 per night, which was subsidized by ABA and its Winter Institute Publisher Partners, expired on Tuesday, November 15, the $112/night rate still available for Thursday and Friday reflects a deep discount from the Hilton's published rates.
