Winter Institute Assignments on the Way

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

All Winter Institute 11 bookseller registrants should be on the lookout for an e-mail sent to their inboxes earlier today, January 13, that includes their assignments for the event’s Bookseller Discussion Groups, Rep Picks Lunch seating, and Publisher Focus Groups. Information for first-time attendees who signed up for the mentorship program will include contact information for their mentor.

In the e-mail, registrants will also be able to preview their name, store name, and city/state as it will be printed on their Wi11 badges; if necessary, corrections may be sent to ABA by Friday, January 15.

All store owners and managers who indicated a preference for an Advanced Learning Education session will receive a separate e-mail with that assignment within the next few days.

All Winter Institute assignments will also be printed on the reverse side of a bookseller’s badge.

Here are a few other reminders:

Booksellers looking to connect with colleagues in Denver can find the list of registrants here.

The first-ever Winter Institute app is also available to enhance the experience of all attendees. The app puts the event schedule, session descriptions, and more at booksellers’ fingertips and allows users to customize their experience and share messages.

In the final days leading up to the Winter Institute, booksellers can continue to send their questions and concerns to [email protected]. Beginning Saturday, January 23, questions can be addressed to ABA Member Relationship Managers Catherine Cusick and Nathan Halter at the Registration/Ask ABA Desk in the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel’s Plaza Foyer, or to any ABA staff or Board member, who will be identifiable by their royal blue badge holders.
