Watch for Registration to Open for ABA Webinar on NPD BookScan for Booksellers

Booksellers are invited to attend a webinar later this month on using NPD BookScan data to increase sales, to be led by David Walter, executive director of NPD Books at The NPD Group. The Thursday, August 23, webinar will be hosted by the American Booksellers Association.

NPD Books provides the trade with important data on the U.S. book industry, helping publishers, distributors, content providers, retailers, and agents get the right products to the right customers at the right place and time. During this webinar, Walter will talk about NPD Books’ methods for compiling its designated market area reports as well as book industry bestseller lists.

Going further, a bookseller panelist will review how bookstores can use this information to increase their sales and better curate their inventory. In addition, a representative from ABA will be on hand to answer booksellers’ questions as they relate to ABA’s Indie Bestseller lists.
