ABA announced this week two promotions within its Information Department.

Rosemary Hawkins, senior editor for print & digital media, will be assuming new responsibilities as the department's executive editor. In addition, David Grogan, currently the department's associate editor, has become the department's senior editor.

As executive editor, Hawkins will be taking on more of the day-to-day direct management of Bookselling This Week and other department projects formerly managed by Dan Cullen, who will continue as the Information Department's director.

In his new job of senior editor, Grogan will work closely with Hawkins on BTW and other projects.

"As I become more engaged here at ABA in the Book Sense program as the editor-in-chief of the 76 lists, it's great to know that two such talented colleagues are here to ensure that ABA members continue to get the most accurate and timely delivery of the information they need to run their businesses," Cullen said.

Hawkins has been with ABA since April 1992. Previous to that, she was a production editor at Kraus International Publications. Grogan has been with ABA since February 2002. Formerly, he was managing editor at Cross World Network.
