This week, the American Booksellers Association welcomed two new Winter Institute (Wi5) Publisher Partners: Macmillan Children's Publishing Group and Other Press. Thanks to their generosity two more ABA member booksellers will be able to attend Wi5 in San Jose, California, on a scholarship.

Ellen Scott of The Bookworm in Omaha, Nebraska, is the recipient of the Macmillan Children's Publishing Group scholarship, and Michael Herrmann of Gibson's Bookstore in Concord, New Hampshire, is the Other Press scholarship winner.

They join a roster of 22 booksellers who were named recipients of ABA publisher-sponsored scholarships last week along with the recipient of the inaugural Avin Mark Domnitz Scholarship. Scholarships cover the cost of reasonable airfare, up to a four-night stay at the host hotel, the Doubletree San Jose, and the Wi5 meal fee.

In addition, this week the Emerging Leaders Council announced eight Wi5 scholarship winners supported by Ingram.
