As a helpful reminder, here is a "Three-Month Bookseller Action List," highlighting important dates and deadlines related to ABA and Book Sense activities and events, for the period April - June 2005. The list, which is included in the April Red Box mailing to stores with Book Sense, may also be downloaded in pdf format.

APRIL

• Register for BookExpo America
  A registration booklet will be mailed to you in April from BookExpo America, including details about ABA's Thursday "Day of Education."
  
  
• Reserve Now
  Reserve your seat now for the Book Sense Author Luncheon on Friday, June 3, at BEA. E-mail Book Sense Marketing Director Mark Nichols at [email protected]. Limit of two seats per store.
  
  
• Vote!
  Watch your mail and Bookselling This Week for details about ABA Officer/Board of Director Ballots. Then, vote!
  
  
• Be Aware of Consumer Contest
  Watch the newsstands for the April issue of Good Housekeeping -- featuring the Book It! section and a Book Sense-sponsored sweepstakes and tie-in to BookSense.com.
  
  
• Distribute Survey
  CONSUMER VERSION: Found in the April Picks list. Distribute, collect, and return to ABA. An online version is available at www.BookSense.com.

MAY

• Watch Your Mail
  Pre-BEA mailing with details about all of ABA's activities, invitations, and other useful information.

JUNE

• New Address!
  ABA will have a new address, but we're keeping the same phone number. Watch for announcements in BTW.

• Gather Signatures on Patriot Act Petitions
  Patriot Act petition pads and bookmarks will be distributed in April's Red Box and are available online at www.bookweb.org/read/7679.
