Small Business Majority, ABA Co-Sponsor Webinar on Tax Policy & Small Businesses

The Small Business Majority, the American Booksellers Association, and other organizations and companies are co-sponsoring a free webinar, “The Fiscal Cliff: What it Means for Your Bottom Line.

The webinar, which will be held on Tuesday, November 27, at 11:00 a.m. EST, will summarize some of the upcoming changes to federal tax policy and how it might affect the small business community.

The presenters for this special webinar will be Ellen Nissenbaum, senior vice president for government affairs at the Center on Budget & Policy Priorities, and Rhett Buttle, the national outreach and government affairs director for the Small Business Majority.

The webinar will cover a number of tax issues that could affect small businesses, including:

  • The Fiscal Cliff: What is it and how might it impact small businesses?
  • Federal Tax Reform: What’s being done in Congress to reform the tax code for small business?
  • Balancing Act: Why is it important for our policymakers to find the right balance between taxation and spending?
