Reserve Now for Post-Winter Institute Ski Trip

If you’ve registered for Winter Institute 2016 and are starting to think about travel plans, now is the time to check out the travel discounts available to event attendees from Amtrak and Delta Airlines and to consider taking part in pre- and post-Winter Institute events: On Saturday, January 23, before the evening’s opening reception, ABA is offering full- or half-day tours to area bookstores, and on Wednesday, January 27, a post-Winter Institute ski trip is planned.

Reservations for the ski trip to the Copper Mountain resort, which is 75 miles west of Denver, are open to ABA members and their families until November 13.

The price of $130 per person includes lift tickets and round-trip bus transportation from the Sheraton Denver Downtown to Copper Mountain. An equipment rental discount code and rental instructions will be provided to confirmed guests via e-mail prior to the trip. (Meals are not included.)

Reservations for the bookstore tours will open on November 12; watch for an announcement in Bookselling This Week. The cost for the full-day tour is $25 and the half-day tour is $15.
