Scholarship applications accepted through January 31

Registration for the fifth ABC Children’s Institute (Ci5) will open to booksellers at all American Booksellers Association member stores next Wednesday, January 11. The 2017 Children’s Institute will be held at the Red Lion Hotel on the River – Jantzen Beach in Portland, Oregon, from April 5–7.

Applications for Children’s Institute publisher-sponsored scholarships are being accepted through January 31. Booksellers at ABA member stores that did not have a Children’s Institute scholarship winner in 2015 or 2016 are eligible to apply. Scholarships will cover the conference fee, the cost of airfare or ground transportation up to $400, and two hotel nights plus tax.
