Reader Nominations Earn Anderson’s Bookshop $3,000 Prize
Printer-friendly versionAnderson’s Bookshop in Naperville, Illinois, has won the top prize of $3,000 in the Readers, Recommend Your Bookstore sweepstakes from Sourcebooks Landmark.
Sourcebooks Landmark launched the sweepstakes earlier this year in honor of January’s #1 Indie Next List pick, The Readers of Broken Wheel Recommend by Katarina Bivald.
Between January 4 and February 19, customers submitted more than 13,000 nominations for their favorite indie bookstores.
Page & Palette in Fairhope, Alabama, and Brilliant Books in Traverse City, Michigan, have each earned the second-place prize of $637, the population of the fictional town of Broken Wheel, Iowa, where The Readers of Broken Wheel Recommend takes place.
