Popular Reading Group List Needs Nominations Now

This Friday, August 10, is the deadline for:

• the Fall Reading Group Book Sense Picks list, and
• the Halloween Top Ten List.

Since its debut four years ago at the suggestion of booksellers, the Book Sense Reading Group list has been an enormous success with book-buying consumers. The Fall Reading Group List is a new addition to the yearly Picks roster.

There's still time to participate in the creation of this important marketing tool.

To help build the reading group list, send five to 10 reading group favorites, especially those that have been published in the past year. There is no need to rank them, or to send in a quote -- just e-mail the titles to [email protected] or use the Picks online nomination form.

"The power of book groups to connect readers and great titles continues to grow," said Book Sense Picks Editor-in-Chief Dan Cullen. "We really hope we receive nominations from a large number of booksellers so that this list will be engaging, diverse, and a helpful marketing tool."
