Plenty of Resources Available for Small Business Saturday

A variety of free American Express/Shop Small marketing materials, including e-mail and press release templates, logos, and in-store signage, is available in the Bookseller DIY’s Designs & Downloads to help stores promote Small Business Saturday. The materials were chosen by the American Booksellers Association from the Small Business Saturday Toolkit for their relevance to independent bookstores. Booksellers are encouraged to use the templates in conjunction with their Indies First promotions.

Via the American Express/Shop Small website, booksellers can order a free Shop Small Merchant Rally Kit, which includes a welcome mat, 15 reusable tote bags, stickers, and more. Orders are being accepted through Friday, November 14, or while supplies last, whichever comes first.

Businesses that accept American Express cards can also add their names to the Shop Small map and be included in the American Express card member offer by logging in on the Small Business Saturday website.
