New Address, Phone for American Booksellers for Free Expression

As announced in November, the American Booksellers Foundation for Free Expression has been reconstituted as the American Booksellers for Free Expression Group at ABA (ABFE), with all operations integrated into ABA’s starting January 1, 2015.

With the change come a new address, telephone number, and e-mail address.

Please change your records to reflect that beginning January 1 the ABFE Group will be located at ABA’s offices in White Plains, New York. The address is:

For the first year of ABFE, all ABA members will be recognized as official supporters of the group and will not be asked to pay dues. They will receive a sticker expressing support for free speech that can be displayed in a store’s front window, as well as a subscription to a new monthly newsletter, Free Speech Report.  Those who do choose to contribute financially to help ABFE’s work will be eligible for premiums, including “fREADom” T-shirts, tickets to the Children’s Art Auction at BookExpo America, and autographed copies of Finan’s From the Palmer Raids to the Patriot Act: A History of the Fight for Free Speech in America.
