March Book Sense Notables Now on BookWeb

The March Book Sense Notables selections are now available in a downloadable PDF flier on BookWeb.org. The flier includes jacket image, bibliographic information, and bookseller quotes. These additional 20 titles are also featured in an electronic file of shelf-talkers for in-store use.

Titles on the March Book Sense Picks fliers, which were sent to stores with Book Sense in the February Red Box, can be reviewed at news.bookweb.org/read/3227.

Beginning with the March selections, the additional 20 titles chosen in the Book Sense Picks program are designated Book Sense Notables. (These titles were formerly announced under the heading "We Also Recommend...") Also, beginning in March the full bibliographic information for the Notables will be listed in the Book Sense Picks fliers.

The change regarding Book Sense Notables was made to help increase consumer awareness of the additional 20 titles and to avoid any possible confusion with the titles on the weekly Book Sense Bestsellers lists that are highlighted with the designation "May We Recommend." The new designation will also give publishers greater ability to highlight their titles in consumer advertising.
