Louisville to Host “Go Local, Grow Local” Conference Next Week

The Louisville Independent Business Alliance (LIBA) will be playing host to Buy Local leaders from around the country during the American Independent Business Alliance’s biennial conference, Go Local, Grow Local: Building Community Prosperity From Within, from Thursday, March 29, through Sunday, April 1.

The program at Louisville, Kentucky’s Galt House offers interactive panels and roundtable discussions about innovative programs to support local independent businesses, as well as opportunities to network, share organizing experiences, and build a more cohesive network for the ongoing exchange of ideas.

AMIBA’s agenda and registration for the full conference, including all events, is available at amiba.net/conference. Á la carte rates for half- or single-day registration, which were offered as an exclusive benefit to LIBA members, are now being extended to all members of the Great Lakes Independent Booksellers Association (GLIBA).  Booksellers in the GLIBA region can register for a half-day of the conference for $50 or a single day for $100.
