Last Chance to Order Independent Bookstore Day Totes

Booksellers have until the end of the day today, October 30, to place their orders for the specially designed Independent Bookstore Day canvas tote bags, featuring a six-panel illustration, “Time-to-Spare Book Club,” by 2014 National Book Award nonfiction finalist Roz Chast.

The tote bag order form must be submitted by the end of today to the Northern California Independent Booksellers Association, which is coordinating production of the totes. Questions about the bags should be addressed to NCIBA Executive Director Hut Landon.

The Independent Bookstore Day bags will be sold in bundles of 20 and are priced at $7.50 per bag, including free freight; imprinting is available at an additional fee. The suggested retail price per bag is $15, but stores are free to set their own price. The bags are nonreturnable.

The totes will ship to stores in November, in time for the holidays. Independent Bookstore Day will be celebrated nationally on May 2, 2015.
