Last Chance to Order Banned Books Week Kits Before June 7 Deadline

ABA bookstore members have until Thursday, June 7, to fill out this online form to receive a Banned Books Week promotion kit, which includes bookmarks, stickers, counter cards, caution tape, and more.

ABA is offering Banned Books Week kits to help bookstores celebrate the freedom to read. The theme of this year’s event, to be held September 23–29, is “Banning Books Silences Stories,” highlighting the importance of speaking out against censorship.

Kits will be sent to bookstores by request only, so each bookstore branch should fill out a form to receive a kit. Supplies are limited, so orders will be fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Banned Book Week kits will be included in the August Red Box. For stores that do not participate in the Red Box program, kits will be shipped via USPS.
