Last Call for IndieCommerce Institute, New Orleans

Today, Thursday, September 12, is the final day for booksellers to register for the September 19 IndieCommerce Institute (ICI) to be held at the Sheraton New Orleans in conjunction with the Southern Independent Booksellers Alliance trade show.

Registration for the October 2 IndieCommerce Institute, to be held at the Best Western Plus Grosvenor Hotel in San Francisco in conjunction with the Northern California Independent Booksellers Association show, ends September 24.

Each ICI will feature a Main Session addressing the needs of most users and an Advanced Seminar appropriate to very experienced users, as well as moderated panel discussions, a Kobo update, and lunch. Session details are available here.

IndieCommerce staff is currently accepting appointments for one-on-one sessions to be held on Wednesday, September 18, and Friday, September 20, in New Orleans, and on Tuesday, October 1, and Thursday, October 3, in San Francisco. All ICI registrants are also invited to an opening reception the evening before each institute.

Booksellers at IndieCommerce stores who are not registered for the ICI in New Orleans can request an appointment for a one-on-one session only with IndieCommerce staff. ICI registrants will be given first priority; all other appointment requests will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

The nonrefundable ICI registration fee is $120 for the Main Session and $150 for the Advanced Seminar. A BookWeb log-in is necessary to access the registration form.
