Thoughts of a new Harry Potter to sell should be enough to warm any bookseller's heart this holiday season, and while information on the latest in the Potter series is extremely limited, J.K. Rowling has at least given her latest a name. On December 21, Scholastic announced that the 7th book in the Harry Potter series will be titled Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. At present, neither the publication date nor price has been set. The book does not yet have an ISBN number.

In the memo, Scholastic noted that, though there has not been any publication announcement for the next Harry Potter book by J.K. Rowling, the publisher has received "several requests for artwork to be used for advance solicitation and promotion purposes for the seventh book." In an effort to "respond to the needs" of its accounts, Scholastic has created placement artwork that booksellers can use at the present time in "connection with any efforts concerning the seventh Harry Potter book."
