An Important Reminder About Hotel ABA

With BookExpo America just four weeks away, the American Booksellers Association is reminding booksellers with reservations at the exclusive hotels for ABA members -- the Doubletree Crystal City and the Hilton Crystal City -- to make adjustments to reservations now, if travel plans have changed. This is especially important if a room is no longer needed. Cancellations now will incur a one-night room charge; however, it may be possible to avoid the cancellation fee. To see if this is possible, before canceling or adjusting a reservation booksellers should contact ABA's Margaret Petrie at (800) 637-0037, ext. 6614 or [email protected].

To ensure a smooth check-in, booksellers are also being encouraged to check reservations through the Doubletree and Hilton websites. There, booksellers can check arrival and departure dates, as well as add the names of anyone sharing their rooms.
