A Change in Your Wi4 Plans? ABA Needs to Know

The American Booksellers Association is asking members who no longer need their Winter Institute registration to let the education team know as soon as possible by sending an e-mail to [email protected]. The Fourth Annual Winter Institute, to be held in Salt Lake City, Utah, from Thursday, January 29, to Sunday, February 1, is booked to capacity, and booksellers who are interested in attending are now being added to a waiting list.

As ABA receives cancellations from members whose plans have changed, education staff will contact booksellers on the waiting in list in the order in which their names were added. They will also work with booksellers to help secure a room reservation at the Salt Lake Marriott Downtown, Wi4's host hotel.

ABA bookstore and provisional members who would like to add their names to the waiting list for the free education event, sponsored by Ingram Book Company and Ingram Publisher Services, should fill out BookWeb's Wi4 registration form.

"As has been the case in previous years, due to last minute cancellations many people from the waiting list will get to attend the Winter Institute," said ABA Chief Program Officer Len Vlahos.
