Ingram Book Realigns Key Marketing Roles

On July 6, the Nashville Business Journal reported that Ingram Book Group, Inc., in La Vergne, Tennessee, had "realigned the roles of some of its key marketing executives." Audrey Seitz, formerly the director of publisher and creative services, is now the vice president for merchandising, and Tamara Crabtree, formerly the director of product marketing and promotions, is now the vice president for publisher marketing and creative services, NBJ reported.


Judy Hottensen Joins Miramax Books

This week, Miramax Books announced that Judy Hottensen would be joining the company as vice president and publisher on July 13. Hottensen is currently vice president, director of marketing and publicity for Grove/Atlantic.

Hottensen will report to President and CEO Rob Weisbach and will oversee the marketing and sales plans for all upcoming Miramax titles currently under contract. She will also work on new title acquisitions and "focus on executing high-caliber campaigns" for authors, developing new marketing and sales strategies, and "deepening our many strong bookseller partnerships," said Weisbach.
