Booksellers Forums Next Week in Colorado, Michigan, and Wisconsin

The American Booksellers Association is inviting booksellers to attend one of three Booksellers Forum programs to be held next week: in Fort Collins, Colorado, on March 24; in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on March 25; and in Spring Green, Wisconsin, on March 26. Each is free and open to ABA members and non-members alike.

The forums are an opportunity for booksellers to share best practices with colleagues and with ABA, and for ABA to garner meaningful feedback on a wide range of topics. Those attending are encouraged to share their thoughts, concerns, and insights.

Each event will also feature the new ABA education session “Exploring New Markets,” which will examine how thoughtful innovation, combined with organized planning and execution, is key to successfully tapping new — and profitable — markets. A number of opportunities in both customer demographics and sales and marketing initiatives will be reviewed with an emphasis on practical steps necessary to implement appropriate programs in your store.

Below are the details for each of next week’s forums.
