Booksellers Connect: Saturday at BEA

Last, but not least, on the American Booksellers Association's program at BookExpo America is "Booksellers Connect: Topical Discussions," open exclusively to booksellers at ABA member stores, on Saturday afternoon, May 30.

The informal roundtables, which were added to the program based on the success of the Sunday Morning Booksellers Cafe at ABA's Winter Institute, will be organized by topics, including IndieBound, digital issues, social media, and more, as well as by booksellers' areas of specialization, including events coordinators, children's bookselling, and frontline booksellers.

The roundtables are a great way to capitalize on the material presented at ABA's Day of Education -- as well as to share overall experiences at BEA over the preceding two days -- with fellow booksellers from across the country.

"Booksellers Connect" will be held from 2:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in Room 1E10 of the Javits Convention Center.
