BookExpo America Calls for Speakers for 2004

On September 9, BookExpo America (BEA) issued an invitation to the book industry to submit proposals regarding authors and other speakers to participate in special events and education programs at next year's show. BEA 2004 will be held from Wednesday, June 2, to Sunday, June 6, at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago.

Application requests and submission proposals for BEA special events, including adult author breakfasts, luncheons, and evening receptions, as well as the Editor and Bookseller Buzz Forum, should be sent to Tina Jordan, public relations director/special events director for BEA, at [email protected].

Proposals for education programs should be sent to Mark Dressler at [email protected].

The deadline for submissions is December 19.
