Binc Scholarship Deadline Extended to March 3

Due to technical problems that caused the Binc/Scholarship America website to crash, the Book Industry Charitable Foundation has extended the deadline for scholarship applications for the 2014–2015 academic year to 11:59 p.m. CST on Monday, March 3, 2014.

The Binc Foundation said on Monday that applicants who were completing the form when the site crashed should find that their saved information is still available; however, anyone who experiences problems should contact Scholarship America at [email protected] or (507) 931-1682.

The Binc Scholarship Program will award up to $198,500 in higher education scholarships to current bookstore employees, owners, and their dependents and former Borders Group employees and their dependents. For more information and to apply, visit www.scholarsapply.org/binc.
