Publishers exhibiting at BookExpo America 2016 can now submit titles for consideration by show organizers for the BEA Adult Editors’ Buzz (fiction and nonfiction), BEA Young Adult Editors’ Buzz, and BEA Middle Grade Editors’ Buzz. Submissions should be upcoming titles by new authors or breakout books by previously published authors who have no bestseller credentials.

The deadline for submissions is November 18, 2015; however, BEA is encouraging publishers to submit titles for consideration as soon as possible in order to give its review committee time to read all submissions.

For Buzz guidelines and to submit a title for consideration, 2016 exhibitors should visit searchitfindit.bookexpoamerica.com/forms/, where they will be able to access the correct application form via the “Buzz” tab at the top of the page. All questions about BEA Editors’ Buzz events should be addressed to Conference Director Sally Dedecker at [email protected].

Past Buzz picks that have gone on to become bestsellers include Station Eleven, by Emily St. John Mandel; The Night Circus, by Erin Morgenstern; Fangirl, by Rainbow Rowell; Room: A Novel, by Emma Donoghue; and more.

BEA 2016 will be held at Chicago’s McCormick Place Convention Center from Wednesday, May 11, through Friday, May 13. Registration is now open via bookexpoamerica.com.
