The American Booksellers Foundation for Free Expression (ABFFE) announced that it is offering two new products incorporating a redesigned version of its popular FREADOM logo -- a small circular button and a T-shirt. Offered in time for this year's Banned Books Week, which will be held September 29 - October 6, the new buttons and shirts feature the FREADOM logo in lowercase letters that appear to have been produced by an old typewriter.

"The redesigned logo, which emphasizes the printed word, is made for booksellers and bookstores," ABFFE President Chris Finan said. "We think booksellers are going to enjoy wearing and selling the T-shirts. The buttons are inexpensive enough to give to customers during Banned Books Week."

The new shirts come in four colors (black, blue, green, and gray). The one-inch buttons come in three colors (red, white, and blue) and are sold mixed in bags of 100. To see samples of both the shirts and the buttons, visit http://www.abffe.com/bbw-sale.htm.

The new FREADOM shirts and buttons are on sale through the end of September. The shirts are $15, a 25 percent savings. For orders of 12 or more, the price is $10. Stores can also add their logo for $1 per shirt. The buttons are $20 per bag.

To order the new FREADOM T-shirts, use the online order form: http://www.abffe.com/bbw-order2007.pdf. The order can be faxed to ABFFE, (212) 587-2436. To place an order by phone, call (212) 587-4025, ext. 13.
