ABC's Anne Irish to Retire -- Organization Seeks Executive Director
Anne Irish will be retiring from her position of executive director of the Association of Booksellers for Children in February, and the organization has begun a search for her replacement. Irish is credited with turning around ABC's declining membership, moving the association to financial stability, and turning it into a dynamic organization.
ABC is now advertising for a "three-quarter-time" executive director to oversee the organization. (For more information, see this week's BTW "Help Wanted" Classifieds.)
