The Summer 2005 Book Sense Children's Picks, which can be previewed online at news.bookweb.org/read/3426 and which will be arriving in stores this week, incorrectly includes three titles' library edition ISBNs. The titles and correct ISBNs for trade editions are:
- THE PENDERWICKS: A Summer Tale of Four Sisters, Two Rabbits, and a Very Interesting Boy, by Jeanne Birdsall (Knopf, $17.99, 0375831436)
- GIRLS FOR BREAKFAST, by David Yoo (Delacorte Books for Young Readers, $17.99, 0385731922)
- TIGER, by Jeff Stone (Random House Books for Young Readers, $17.99, 0375830715)
The April 21 article "First Kansas City Forum a Hit" and the March 17 article "Midwest Booksellers Enthusiastic About ABA/MBA Booksellers Forum & Education Program", which refer to the Midwest Booksellers Association, incorrectly included the logo of the Mountains & Plains Booksellers Association. The Midwest Booksellers Association appears here.
The April 6 announcement of the May Book Sense Picks and Notables incorrectly identified a bookstore in a nomination. Kelly Dickinson, who nominated ROBBING THE BEES: A Biography of Honey -- The Sweet Liquid Gold That Seduced the World, is order coordinator of the OSU Bookstore - General Books, in Corvallis, Oregon.
