Booksellers' Input Sought on Book Sense Picks Format

In an effort to solicit important feedback regarding the Book Sense Picks list, ABA is asking bookstores in the Book Sense program to participate in a short survey, which they received in the February Red Box mailing. Booksellers can also complete the survey online at www.bookweb.org/read/7619, or can download it in PDF format by clicking here.

Completed surveys should be returned to Book Sense, Dept. S, 828 South Broadway, Tarrytown, NY 10591. They can also be faxed to (914) 591-2720.

Bookseller input will be invaluable in helping ABA plan and prioritize future Book Sense offerings. To enable ABA to tabulate the surveys in a timely manner, booksellers are asked to return the survey by February 28.

In addition, a separate, consumer survey on the Picks List will be printed in both the March and the April Picks fliers and will also be available on the BookSense.com site. As an incentive, consumers who complete the survey will be eligible to win all 20 titles featured in the March or the April Picks fliers. Winners will be chose at random. (And booksellers are asked to encourage consumers to return their surveys to the address listed in the flier, or to fill out the survey online.)
